Description

Develops, writes and submits grant proposals including applications, letters and budgets for federal, national and other grant-awarding organizations, persuasively communicating the organization's mission and innovative programs.

Primary Responsibilities

– Prepares proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.

– Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal, and attending strategy meetings.

– Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.

– Enters and monitors tracking data.

– Coordinates requirements with contributors.

– Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.

– Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.

GENERAL COUNSEL

SUMMARY

We are looking for an analytical General Counsel to optimize our organizational efficiency regarding legal matters. The General Counsel will examine and draft transactional agreements, employment, real estate and vendor contracts, manage copyrights and trademarks, and preserve business records such as minutes of meetings and resolutions. The General Counsel will be responsible for the negotiation and management of customer contracts, insurance matters and employee relations. You will ensure legal compliance regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity, labeling, employee safety and consumer protection. You will oversee compliance with corporate governance and establish the prudence of defending lawsuits and prosecuting.

To ensure success you need to have sound knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations, and the ability to make prudent legal decisions. Top candidates will be team players with outstanding advocacy and people skills.

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

SUMMARY

The position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and

budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Primary responsibilities include managing the financial aspects of the firm by establishing, monitoring and enforcing accounting, producing critical financial reports, which include but are not limited to: profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flows. In addition, presentation support and financial prospectuses. Federal and state regulatory company reporting requirements are also prepared and submitted in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

– Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

– Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives

– Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.

– Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner

– Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable

– Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly

– Ensure payroll and commissions are progressed in a timely manner

– Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed

– Ensure that required debt payments (if applicable) are made on a timely basis

We are looking for a DBA (Database Administrator) with experience defining, creating, and maintaining spatial, tabular data and their structures.
